Florence – Escape of Sevilla into the final of the Europa League is not only an opportunity for them to retain the title. Los Rojiblancos also have the opportunity to write a new history in this competition.

Sevilla qualified for the final after beating the Italian representative, Fiorentina, in the semifinals. They escaped with a 5-0 aggregate score.

After winning 3-0 at home, Sevilla subjecting La Viola 2-0 in the second meeting at the Artemio Franchi, Friday (15/05/2015) pm dawn. Two goals Sevilla created by Carlos Bacca and Daniel Carrico.

“The result is too hands down. I really liked the way Fiorentina play these two games,” said Sevilla coach, Unai Emery, who quoted by Football Italia.

“I want to thank Fiorentina on these two games and the fans for their applause when the game ends. They recognize that we deserved to qualify,” said Emery.

“Although the score landslide, Fiorentina had a chance to score in two games,” he said.

In the finals, Sevilla will face Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, who surprisingly rid of Napoli. The final match will be held at the Stadium Narodowy, Warsaw, May 27 next.

For Sevilla, the game against Dnipro will be their fourth final in the UEFA Cup / Europa League. In the three previous finals, namely in 2006, 2007, and 2014, they have always been a champion.

With a collection of three titles, Sevilla has now become one of the most successful club in the UEFA Cup / Europa League with Juventus, Inter Milan and Liverpool. If it can be champion this year, they will enter the history books as the first club that won four titles in this competition.

“If the Dnipro rid of Napoli, it means they are a very good team. Both Sevilla and Dnipro equally deserve to be in the final,” said Emery.

“I do not want to say we are favorites because we were a 50-50 chance. We are working with the same mentality to win games,” he added.

“Sevilla has improved a lot throughout the season. The competition is important for us and the fans. It’s not easy to reach the final again and we get there after going through many battles,” he said.
